hathhappinessinstore,

whowalksnotinthewicked'sway,

norlearnstheirguiltylore!

norfromtheseatofscornfulpride

castsforthhiseyesabroad,

butwithhumilityandawe

stillwalksbeforehisgod.

thatmanshallflourishlikethetrees,

whichbythestreamletsgrow;

thefruitfultopisspreadonhigh,

andfirmtherootbelow.

buthewhoseblossombudsinguilt

shalltothegroundbecast,

and,liketherootlessstubble,tost

beforethesweepingblast.

forwhy?thatgodthegoodadore,

hathgiv'nthempeaceandrest,
