thesobsandforcedsuspensionsofthebreath,
andallthedulldesertionsoftheheart
withwhichihungo'ermydearmother'scorse?
wherebetheblestsubsidingsofthestorm
within;thesweetresignednessofhope
drawnheavenward,andstrengthoffiliallove,
inwhichibow'dmetomyfather'swill?
mygodandmyredeemer,keepnotthou
myheartinbruteandsensualthanklessness
seal'dup,obliviouseverofthatdeargrace,
andhealthrestor'dtomylong-lovedfriend.
