ofriend,awake,andsleepnomore!

thenightisoverandgone,wouldyouloseyourdayalso?

others,whohavewakened,havereceivedjewels;

ofoolishwoman!youhavelostallwhilstyouslept.

yourloveriswise,andyouarefoolish,owoman!

youneverpreparedthebedofyourhusband:

omadone!youpassedyourtimeinsillyplay.

youryouthwaspassedinvain,foryoudidnotknowyourlord;

wake,wake!see!yourbedisempty:heleftyouinthenight.
